Hi all anyone found a portable way to use dock water through a filter to rinse boat to save the effort to dry the boat after.
I have looked at spot zero portable but its in US electric and Ithink its going to be several thousand, just wondering if anyone found another option tha works like a window cleaner system but needs to be portable.

I have spot zero built into the boat, from the USA manufacturer but European electrical spec/voltage. It's brilliant and I Iove it - I plan to fit a second unit for redundancy. But it's always going to be €€€/£££ several thousand and as far as I know there is no spot zero style system (ie 3-4ppm max) available for a lower price. Filtering and/or those ion-exchange resin things will help plenty (at much lower cost) but won't get you anywhere near 3-4 ppm and so will not avoid the need for chamois-ing. The spot zero style systems use double/sequential reverse osmosis, which is a far cry from filtering.

I use a car valeting filter which is easy transport to the boat and then connect to a jet washer. It’s about 9 litres.I use a tds meter to measure when the resin is used up and then change using window cleaning resin. I change the resin once a year. Costs about £50 to refill .I use it when washing the car as well and you can get away without drying off without leaving watermarks and our water is hard at 350 ppm.
