Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and relatively new to boating in general. Anyway, I have a question for you. I have seen lots of trailers with posts sticking up in the air and I believe these are used for a visual purpose so you can see the trailer when it is submerged but also to assist when recovering a boat in strong tides and winds.
Does anyone know where I can get these posts I know they do them as a retro fit item.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try taking the trailer round to a local blacksmith, All of the arms that I have seen seem to be a home made affair (mine included).

these are common trailer add ons, your local boat/trailer dealer should have them, even your major marine suppliers should have them. some just have plastic covered posts and others have rollers mounted on them. great help to guide/center boat on trailer. the first time.
