You know I've been going on about it not raining over here, well spooky but today it is 6 months to the day since I arrived, 6 months of constant sunshine and this evening ...........bucketing down .........(probably be hot again tomorrow)

It's rather scary to think about, but the number of days of rain in past 3 months here can be counted on fingers - as evidenced by me sowing grass seed, and having to water regularly, and being thankful each time it rains

Clive,
know what you mean. We are having the first rain since March and it is horrible. With all the fires I thought we would all be grateful - but we are not! All the rubbish is now making its way down from the hills and ito where? Yeh you guessed right - The marinas.
On the plus side we are getting the boat and the car washed for free.

A 60ft (ish) wooden sailing boat has been blown up in Lagos marina. Somebody tried to set it on fire on Sunday night and failed, but returned on Monday night and succeeded. I cant understand why somebody would do such a thing. It is a very sad sight to see, and it must be devastating for the owner.
