Is it just me ? I seem to get through an endless amount of sponges on the boat...

Too much washing boats and mopping bilges out i guess...

My boat came with an excelent and very absorbant sponge which is now falling apart. The standard car washing type don't seem very good for drying bilges but do seem to last forever.

If you have the very absorbent type then please tell me where you got them :)

Are the B&Q ones OK when old? I hate the kind that disintigrate and leave crumbs all over the place.
Also, the shy-talks keep eating the ones I leave in the hard dinghy, even when they're stuffed up the baler.
Need to look for shares in a sponge company, got to be better than my Aviva bonds.
