The joint rally with the Upper Thames MYC and the Oxford Ditch is over. The final 10 boats or so departing on the morrow (Monday). What a splendid rally it was too, loads of grub, wine galore, bundles of chat and loads of side events ranging from a major book swap to quizzes and soppy games. For those with nimble fingers there were even lessons in balloon sculpturing.
Well before the weekend was over the two Commodores had already made plans to do the same next year.
