I understand that this famous powerboat of the 1960's is languishing ashore at a boatyard in Puerto Sotogrande, Spain.
Any of you Med' boys and girls moor there or visiting?
If so I would appreciate confirmation that she is there and in what state? Photos would be a real bonus.
In case you are not familiar with her she was a cabin cruiser style, not an out and out racer, around 40 to 45 feet long, built by the Dorset Lake Shipyard, who produced a small number of similar style boats called Hag ... (length). A rather unfortunate choice I always thought. She was powered by a pair of mighty Rolls Royce diesels and won the Cowes/ Torquay "Concours d'Elagance" more than once.
I can imagine the wealthy owner being served his champagne and caviar as he powered across Lyme Bay!!
