Has anyone made their own spinnaker pole?
Are they not just lengths of annodised aluminium pole with end fittings on or am I missing something.
Has anyone made the ends too?
Could it be that easy or do I have to spend another 400 quid minimum?

Any ideas?

You can cetainly buy the ends, the tube may be difficult as the makers often have special sizes extruded just for themselves. Try a local Aluminium stockist for tube sizes available. Don't forget you will need anodised tube - you may have to get this done yourself.

Dead easy to make yourself but will still cost you £400.

Whether you buy from a sparmaker or an aluminium stockholder it'll come to the same.

Try Z Spars - they're about the least expensive. 01473 822130 speak to David White or 00 33 546 44 02 27 speak with Franck Genin.
