I understand that Conrad and Jill who have owned the Spinnaker Bar/Restaurant in Chichester Marina for several years have sold their lease to a new owner and their departure is imminent. (Incidentally this has nothing to do with the demise of Peters plc, as the Spinnaker lease was directly with Premier marinas). So Chichester has now seen the change from Peters plc to Opal Marine, a change in ownership of the Chandlery, a change in the Shipyard infrastructure, and now a change in the bar/restaurant management. Interesting times!

On the 2 occasions I tried to eat there I found them very rude & arrogant lets look forward to new blood good food and some customer care.

Yep, it's your lucky day - providing you don't keep a boat in Spain that is.

I believe the new owner also owns a large Tandoori restaurant in Chichester city centre.

If it's the one in St. Panc. it's the best one ever.

Ah, Conrad & Jill are off then....

Certainly right with some of the comments in as much as saying the old beggar was rude, almost shocking on occasion.

I have had the odd meal there and used to pop in for a pint frequently, but no longer in the area anymore.

Funny though, I still like the old sod, even for all his rudeness!

I wonder if the Spinney will get any sort of revamp under new ownership?
