Spi pole ends

My trusty whisper (whisker?) pole has come to an untimely demise.
Crafted from a length of spruce and ends hacked off a spinnaker pole unearthed from a skip, it did a first rate job on the genoa and also doubled as a holder-upper on the cockpit cover.
Now, alas, it has gone for a swim of the no-return variety. It jumped off the deck never to be seen again.
Does anyone have a source for just-as-cheap pole ends?
I fancied a pair of Classic Marine's bronze jobs, but not at £58 a pop.

I made mine, but I've seen some, I think seasure, ones which were cheap. Stainless.

I have exactley the same problem! Classic Marine ones are even more than 58 quid I think. I am planning to make a new ash stave and attach cheap stainless connector from seasure below on one end and a stainless boat book end on the other so I can get double useage.

The "MS" ones are messing, meaning brass - pherhaps that helps?

It is a well know outfitter for traditional boats in Germany.

And I need the same, but with 25mm diameter.... :-(
