We've a Jabsco pump on back of our Perkins Prima, which has had the 'Speedseal' conversion fitted, the thumb screws, thicker front plate with groove holding an 'O'ring seal. Unfortunately, the seal ring is old, compressed, and leaking, and one of thumb screws gone.
Now I find that the maker has recently closed his business, ill health.

I've googled, contacted many potential suppliers, no luck.

I've also been tried usual engineers suppliers, seals, bearings, fasteners, local to Ipswich, no luck.

Has anyone suggestions of other sources, either new Speedseal kit, or just screws and and seal for now?

It's a 28mm hose connection model, JAb 29500-1001 I believe

Otherwise, have found an Italian made Jabsco direct replacement, from Ancor, for £200! Sounds sensible, gain time to repair original, keep as spare, as sailing away overseas for few years.

Logically, if the maker was able to source the 'o'-rings, it should be possible to still get them.
The thumbscrew problem can be fixed by getting a s/s screw of the same thread, screwing 3-4 nuts onto it and tightening them up, then cutting to the correct length. It might not be 'meaty' enough to tighten by hand, but doesn't everyone with a Speedseal give it an extra fraction of a turn with a pliers?
P.S. I'd imagine someone else will take over the business, it's an excellent product.

Remove the Speedseal plate and use a micrometer to measure the diameter of the sealing ring groove, then measure the thickness of the groove. Those two measurements are what you need to go to Simply Bearings site (https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/Products-O-Ring-Seals/c4747_4515/index.html?page=1) where you should be able to find an o ring to match. I know the o rings are very thin so difficult to measure the thickness but if you order what you think are the right thickness plus one slightly larger and one slightly thinner you should wind up with at least on which fits properly....
The thumb screws are just common threaded bolts fitted with an easy to grip thumb wheel. As a temporary replacement, you can use any suitably sized stainless or brass bolt or screw. No doubt someone will be along shortly to tell you where you can get a new thumb screw.
Edit, just looked on eBay, thumb screws here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KNURLED-...P-KNOB-BOLTS-M3-M4-M5-M6-M8-M10-/182019943325 ....

Thank you both. Yes, I thought they were generic parts but wasn't getting anywhere. Duncan, great, I've ordered some thumb screws. But the old ring is more tricky, not available from the bearing supplier likelinked but v close. I need 1mm section Dia, of 60mm ID. They have 1.5 mm section, smallest. Thinking of trying the continuous cord they list, 1mm, to joint. Have used this in engineering before, with jig alignment for cutting, and gluing. I'll call them, see if they can suggest something. Most grateful, thanks againl.

As mentioned by duncan99210, I bought the SS knurled thumb screws on ebay . For the 'O' ring, I would get the 1.5mm Ø ring and try it. I would be surprised if Speedseal had special ones made, which would not be a cheap option.

I took our Speedseal coverplate, and old O ring, to these people (Latchingdon branch is close for us):

They measured the O ring, and got a replacement from a drawer.

I'd have thought any similar emporium could do likewise.

Good luck!

Reverting to the original type face plate and screws would not be particularly expensive.

Speedseal didn't do aone for my engine so I got a friend to make one on his lathe. He cut a brass disc to size, drilled 6 holes and cut a shallow groove. I got an O ring easy enough. The thing that stumped me was the knurled thumbscrews so I had to use Allen key fixings which were much better than the fiddly screws.
A replacement ring for the OP's one should be easy to find. Just order the closest fit. If you can't get the exact length go shorter it'll stretch.

Despite a good go at trying all my local engineering supplies around Ipswich, still no luck on this size of O ring. Online ordering, most have a minimum order and carriage making it around £16, though i'd have a hundred odd O rings, haha!

However, just struck lucky, less than a fiver for 5 O rings here:

Thank you all.
