Speeding crack down continues

I don't have a problem with this. (The crackdown that is!)

I concede that at some time we have all broken the exact limit, but nudging 6mph on a quiet stretch with a low wash vessels isn't the problem here. It's the large powerful 8 tonne things hammering up and down, and the idiots in sports boats on the plane that are socially unacceptable (IMHO) and upset people.

I see too many 'fat cockneys in little speed boats with 70hp outboards' pointlessly thrashing up and down from pub to pub, with total disregard to licensing laws, speed limits or anything else, who just seem to get away with it all, and have seen a good proportion of large Brooms with Blue dusters turning Ducks upside down come to think of it...

At the end of the day, it's pointless trying to do anything about it, you can video these idiots, but even other forumites turn against you when faced with hard evidence in my experience.

Wake shots will be posted as soon as I get past London! :p

Yup, bring it on... Far too many tossers going too fast IMHO.

As mentioned time and again, I have a lovely riverside mooring along with twenty or so other (some residential) boats, and it's just selfish, sometimes even dangerous. Particularly for the less mobile trying to board, or anyone working on the waterline (me).

Yes, my engines get some exercise occasionally, but NOT past other boats, rowers or anyone moored etc etc..

Show some blxxdy consideration!!!

Great! It is about time that the inconsiderate, albeit minority, are taught to respect other boaters, the environment and our wonderful River Thames.

Go for it EA and hit them where it hurts, in their pockets.
