Spares-CAN YOU HELP

I have a friend who runs an old Bates Star Craft and the engine has gone phut. The engine is a 1944 Chrysler Crown M7. He needs some pretty serious stuff for it, Pistons, Bearings etc.
If anyone knows where he might find these please give him a ring, his name is Terry and the number is:-

He is naturally reluctant to put a new engine in as he is a purist and wants to keep the boat as original as is possible.

I expect your friend has already tried this but there was a Starcraft Owners Club run by Diana Bates out of Bates Wharf Chertsey; past tense only because I can't be sure it's still going. If it is I would have thought they might have some contacts as that engine, or its close sisters, was a fairly common fit. May also have been some spares advice in the Starcraft piece that MBM ran a few years back...will check.
