Spanish vocab for sailing ?

You call somebody "My good man.." round these parts! Probably get a VEE-sign in return, and you might just make out the sottovoce mutter,"Merde! Not another one!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I thought that kind of vocabulary went out with empire. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The Spanish say "WATER" obviously in a Spaish accent when they are refering to the Toilet .This is because the first flushing wc came from Britain.Do the Spanish shout "TOILET" when they are in shoaling water and wish a competitor to give wayor do they shout Aqua?

I had a book with sailing frases in 7 languages: english, german, french, dutch, spanish, portuguese and italian. I can't find it at the moment, but it is already quite old (20 years or more). Very useful!
