Spanish mooring Costs

No but...August Il de yeu 2.55€/m/night Isle de re St martin 3.13 La Coruna 2.47
Ribadeo .17/m² so not that different to UK for marinas and that was 2003. But the discounts for long term in french harbours were good.

For Spanish ports try www.guiadepueblos.com. On thye left hand side of the screen near the bottom of the page (you got to scroll) you'll read "puertos deportivos". You migh find something.

Do you have any suggestion for MTB in the Klosters Davos, area or nearby (I see you live in Zurich)?

Re: French mooring Costs

If annual : (from my post dated Feb 22)

Anyway, in this month's (March) Voile & Voiliers there is a survey of berths/moorings available (on an annual basis) in French harbours as well as the cost for a 32' boat. The survey was carried out anonymously between mid-December and mid-January. The places available are either at pontoons or on swinging moorings - it says which in the article. The cheapest ones are normally drying moorings.

Summary

Dunkirk to Cherbourg :

St Valéry en Caux €498, Rouen €1890, Deauville €2643, Dives sur Mer €1875, Courseulles €2165, Caen €900, Carentan €900, St Vaast-La-Hougue €1405

Diélette to l'Aber-Ildut (N Finisterre)

Cerbère to Carry le Rouet (nr Marseille)

St Louis du Rhône/Port Napoléon €1645

Marseille - Menton

Mandelieu la Napoule (Cannes marina) (NB €6000 !) Cap d'Ail (€6460..!!)

In general other places are available at a large number of ports but not at an annual rate and therefore more expensive.

Hope this helps those who have expressed an interest of moving away from the S coast of England.

Well it actually means something like Towns guide (Pueblo = town, but it can also mean people) ;-)

Bilboa E450 for 1 month out of season. Santander E23 per night Gijon E350 for May. Viviero E425 July. Seem to be about UK prices less a little but facilties not always so good. However local yacht clubs Castro Urdiales, Santona. Santander, Gijon are 1st rate and quite formal. take decent pair of long strides, shirt & possibly tie viz. UK 1960's but worth the effort. There now
