One of my bigger jobs this winter is to rewire the switch panel, which is a complete rats' nest of anonymous bits of wire and mis-matches switches.

I'm not planning to rewire the rest of the boat on the ain't broke don't fix prinicple, apart from one or two things that are broke, so I want to terminate all the boat wiring at a block of connectors and have fresh, tidy, wiring for the rest. Earths will simply go to a bus bar, and I could use screw-down terminal blocks for the individual + connections, but I'd like to use something like a choc-block, but with male spade connectors.

I saw a pic when I was researching fuse boxes and switches, but I've drawn a blank now I want to buy. No luck with the usual suspects - RS, Farnell & Maplin.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, everyone.

Basically, I want to set things up so I have spare positions in the connectors so the next bodger to mess with the panel (probably me :o) doesn't have to piggyback things.

None of your suggestions was quite what I was looking for, but Furneaux Riddall had just what I was after. As someone on the other thread said, "Shame about the £6 delivery", but I go within a mile on my way down to the boat and can get there during their opening hours, so I'll call in next time.
