Compass web page and enter Sou'wester in the search box. £6.95 when we bought them. Good strap and keeps the rain off better than any other type of hat. Excellent material. Makes you look a bit daft though.
Try rat bags http://members.tripod.com/ratisland/ratbags.html is where I get my work trousers patched when I am at home their range not the cheapest (a souwester is £29) but is insdistrucable (I have a buccaneer hat which is still going strong after 4 years of abuse and a duffle bag which is still good as new).
the other alternative is bacons dozen www.baconsdozen.co.uk/which is based in Lowastoft and does them for £22 the bloke who runs it very is helpful as well.
hope this helps.
cheers Pip
I bought one from gael force last year.... They specialize in commercial fishing.
just looked on there webpage but they are not listed with the commercial fishing clothing may be worth a call. mine was only about fiver. athough i had to spend 20p on a bit of ribbon when it fraid last month.
Best bit of kit onboard, even if you look like a big lemon.
As Compass do them in red and blue as well - you can get to look like a big strawberry or blueberry. But agree - best bit of foul weather kit on the boat.
