Went for a little visit to Southwold Harbour yesterday which is always nice just for the shear old world charm. Little video of our trip below. We were wondering how far you can get up the river Blyth in a small sib/tender around high water. Can you get to Blythborough

You can get up to Blythburgh, or so I have been told, never tried ourselves. There are river trips that take you up there. Not sure how long you would get before needing to depart?

A dinghy to Blythburgh is no problem just make sure you know which bit is river and which is shallow lagoon, I got nearly to Bayford but had to stop at a broken farm bridge and walk the rest.
At Blythburgh go round the corner and drag the dinghy up the bank by the church, you can walk through to the pub easily.

Many thanks. I think you need to go at about half water on a rising tide so that you can spot the river and then on the way back try and remember lol. I suspect there are some withys

There are marks but can still be fairy confusing, os maps on a smarthphone will keep you on the right track.
Defo go on a rising tide so you can have a couple in the white hart and still have enough water to get back again.
I used os maps to keep to track on the alde up to snape once and was spot on the channel, bits of that are pushing a mile wide with narrow wandering channel underneath the surface, that was in an RLM31 with twin outdrives.
