The sand bar is partially obstructing the harbour entrance, happened overnight, speak to Midge Harbour mistress for updates.

Is it something that happens regularly during the year?
Went for first time last year and was looking to make several passages this year.
Particularly if I get nice berth in a convenient marina nearby /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

the last time we were there the Marina was Full.

Marina ? at Southwold ?? heaven forbid !!! 'THEY' would try to make us respectable (and probably plastic)
Seriously though, it looks as if the sea may be doing for itself what the environment agency is trying to by the public mooring. DAM THE RIVER !!
