Lowestoft / Southwold over the bank holiday weekend anyone ?.

Just need to check with SWMBO when she gets home from work this evening, as we often take our summer hols to coincide with the Aug bank holiday weekend.... so will confirm later.... but provisionally, a big yes!..
Although we'd probably also take the Friday off and make it a 4 day weekend... Southwold is a PITA from the south as to get to the entrance at HW means fighting the tide all the way up... so we'd probably go to Lowestoft first....

That is indeed the end of our annual fortnight cruise, so whether we make it or not is entirely dependent upon wind direction!
we'd quite like to head down towards Dieppe and St Valery en Caux.... but if the winds wrong, then we'll head towards the Ijsselmeer... in which case a trip back via Lowestoft/Southwold might appeal... also if its breezy then we'll probably stay on the East coast, and do the Medway/Thames/Swale etc etc.... in which case again, we'll join in....
