Southampton Temp Moorings

I bought a boat last Autumn and I have just about finished all the work! she is ashore on the Hamble. My mooring is in Devon on the Exe and I do not want to take a new boat on a longish trip before some shake down and get to know her time. Does anyone know of any temp moorings within easy reach of the Hambe,for approx a month from June. The boat is 28' long and is a fin keen yacht with a draught of 1.49m

You could berth on the midstream visitor's pontoon near the mouth of the Hamble - it will cost you £67.50 per week for a 28 footer

Phone Gosport Boat Yard and see if they've got any swinging moorings temporarily available ... should be considerably cheaper than the Hamble!

According to posts earlier this week (or last week) the marinas are crying out for customers, so temporary (but not necessarily cheep) moorings should be in abundance.
