Are the organisers of this event taking the p### ?

They're advertising that you can save money by buying an early ticket. yet charging an additional £1.25 'booking fee, making the early purchase cost MORE than 'at the door' !!

Who are they trying to kid, I wonder?

Ah - but you save queuing up for tickets on the door.

The last couple of boat shows I've attended have been so busy that I've had to queue for as much as 2 minutes to get in /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

yes they are! Had the same thing recently when I booked cinema tickets for birthday treat for 12 yr old son...except they charged full price for the tickets and slapped an extra chrge on cos I'd done all the work for them via the net! Grrrrrrrr!!

Last year got mine from Honda. Much cheaper and no booking fee.
Don't think they are repeating the exercise this year. Shame.

WRONG... the on-the-door price is £14, so the advance price of £12.50 is a saving of £1.50 so you still save compared to buying on the door.... also, the £1.25 fee is regardless of how many tickets you buy, so the more you buy the more you save.
