South west- plymouth meet - 25th april or 2 may?

Right you lot..

Goosewing and I are aiming to set off southwards in early May (well probably eastwards first to the mercury meet, but leaving plymouth)

Anyone fancy a get together before we leave? We are aiming to have a party in Fowey on either the 25th April or 2nd may, but could have a Plymouth get together as well.... unless you lot fancy a cruise in company (or land visit) to Fowey

(That is, of course, if i ever finish work on Wild Bird! She's out on the hard at the moment and I'm waiting for a new prop shaft /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif)

Count me in.. would be great fun to have a little mini cruise in company..... though a back up plan for bad weather may be a good idea!

Maybe a mini cruise to Fowey if the weather is good.... a mini cruise in the plymouth area/or get together if the weather is moderate/crap.... ???

I do fancy a good feast at Sams place!

Or maybe a raft up at Newton Ferrars....

I'm launching on 24th and won't be afloat until the evening so the following day is unrealistic for me. The weekend of the 2nd sounds much better.

Sadly, we'll have to miss out on this one. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Andy will be in Abu Dhabi on business, and I have three gigs (between Falmouth Shout and the Cornwall Fiddle Orchestra) the weekend of 25th April, and am doing my Day Skipper Practical the week starting 3rd May....hope they've stocked up on fenders!

A shame as it would be nice to wish the Wild Birds literally Bon Voyage. I look forward to reading your witticisms and tales of adventure on your website.
