Dingle -
Eat at The Chart House €98 for 3 inc wine, Excellent food, Cosy and friendly atmosphere. From the marina, walk round the harbour, past the fishing boats to a little foot bridge, cross over and you'll see it in front of you...best to book ahead. Tel: 066 915 2255
Drink - Dick Macks, if you like your beer in the company of old shoes this is the place for you...it doesn't seem as if it's changed in the past 70 years, more nicnaks in the place than you could wave a very large stick at....walk up the hill to the church and it's on the outher side of Green street

Sneem -
Eat / Drink - The Blue Bull, just on yer left as you walk into town, Good seafood in vast quantities
Drink - Dan Murphy's Bar, bright fuchia on the outside you can't miss it...it's just before the bridge on the right. Sneem is a 30 minute walk from Oysterhouse Quay, or get a cab €7 tel 064 45324

Castletown Bearhaven -
Drink - McCarthy's from the eastern end of the harbour walk through town and it's on the right. Guinness can be consumed as you stock up on provisions

Schull -
Eat / Drink - The Bunratty Inn, good food in hefty portions, nice to sit outside in their garden or on the street, from the harbour walk into town and up the hill

Baltimore - Sherkin Island
Eat / Drink on Sherkin's only pub the Jolly Rodger, French chef, good food, and serve beer, stay off the Powers or you'll have to be dragged away by your crew!

Castletowshend
Eat / Drink - Mary Ann's first pub you come to up the hill...if you pass the trees in the middle of the road you've gone too far...Outstanding food very weel presented and very popular with good reason...gets busy later on...might want to book Tel: 028 36146

Kinsale -
Drink - The Spanniard, follow the harbour all the way around at sea level, when you've doubled back on yourself you'll have to walk up a hill, but the view and the atmosphere is worth it, it's very old so watch your heads...Wonder down to Man Fridays for some really good food with the best views of Kinsale...book at the weekend
Drink - The Tap Tavern, another old pub with a covered courtyard - for the smokers. lots of stuff on the walls, not to be missed, if you can't find it ask for directions
Eat - Too many to mention, put it this way, if you like good food you've fallen on your feet!
