Thank you Byron. Not too bad then /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just been speaking to friends on boats at Shiplake and Henley. Henley seems to be benifiting from the wide expanse of low meadow and a Dunkirk spirit seems to prevail amongst the motley crews assembeled there. The Shiplake guys are above the lock on the starb'd side looking upriver and somewhat less comfortable. Water level almost waist high on bankside and needing to keep a careful eye on boats not floating across bank.
TV pix of Marlow with the weir running well and The Compleat Angler clearly in danger of getting rather wet!

Sheduled to meet John Tough at the marina tomorrow morning to do the BSS on Legacy. Will be interesting to see how we get on!

I thought you would have taken in the gazebos!
Here's us at Abingdon this morning (photo courtesy of Chris_d all round super forumite and ODCC member):

Luckily we have the rings, those nearer the bridge are not so fortunate.

Have you the faintest idea what they weigh and how many dudes are needed to take them down. You should know Ian, those aren't gazebos they are heavy marquees. So heavy I never take the framework down even through the winter.

Yeah I meant marquees, but I didn't know how to spell it.
Last time I was in them it rained a bit if I remember.........May Bank Holiday
Let's hope they will be dried out for September.

Wow the power of the forum. I'd certainly be interested in any photos you have.
I bought her 2 years ago, she had just returned from Spain and had just 69hrs on 2 new diesels, i've put another 200 odd hrs on since with one long trip round to Poole and back. When did your uncle own her?

Sure does, some of the pictures posted recently really demonstrated the flow rate but these look as you say very calm.

If it keeps up like this, you can borrow my tender to get to Shirlian if you like...
