We've been chartering out of Largs and Ardrossan but fancy a change (and a shorter drive) so are considering the south coast - close to Brighton if possible. Despite a search of the net the only charter companies I'm finding are fishing charter - can anyone help please?

I'm not aware of anybody chartering from Brighton, but as it's not a great cruising area that's not too surprising. Go to the Solent and there's choice aplenty.

Re: Loads in the back of YM

Brighton is a hopeless place to charter from.

Companies I've used for years in the Solent include Hamble Point Yacht Charters who have a great attitude to cleanliness and maintenance backed up with a range of 25 or more boats. Victory Charters at Gosport are pretty good too.
