Sourcng Webbing that Fits to Guardrail

Thanks for the replies so far. Anyway, my brain is functioning a little better (I'm back at home in Spain for 10 days and the Cava is taking effect). A near description to what I am after is netting - the stuff that goes around from the safety rail to the deck itself.

My wife is coming to stay with me on the boat and the cat is coming so we need a bit of additional security in addition to his life line and life jacket. Thanks in advance.

The netting is as in DavidGrieves posting. In order to get the height right , the trick is not to cut it , but vary the stretch to make the width fit. Just like in the picture . Dont do the silly trick of cutting it and using cable ties on the top edge.
Its fiddly working out how many 'holes' you will have between two stanchions but once done keep a record for the next time.

I found with a teak toe rail on my GK24, I had to stretch a length of 3mm line between eyes screwed to the toe rail. With an aluminium extrusion you can lace the lower edge down to the rail or use cable ties. You can see the line here :

The netting lasts a few years before replacement. I use mine to keep large crew on board when they try to stand on the sea.
