I need to get some white laminate to face a marine ply board but am struggling to locate a local firm to Portsmouth. Any suggestions. (Shore laminates in Havant have gone).

Google or Yellow pages for a kitchen worktop manufacturer. You often fiind them tucked away in industrial estates. There are 3 in the Bournemouth/Poole area. You can often get offcuts. I paid £5 for enough to do an infill over my cooker and a near perfect match for the original. The companies buy in rolls rather than sheets so should be able to cut to size.

I bought "Formica laminate" last year from a shop in either London Road, or Fratton Road, (Pompey) cant remember which. Excellent service and good price and free advice regarding sticking it to the substrate. Came from Yellow pages

It's still there then! .... must be 25 yrs since I last bought an offcut from them. Was only thinking about them a few days ago because I need some laminate but thought it unlikely they were still in business. On the East side of the road IIRC? Fratton road I think.
