I note many types of boat have a rubber strip at the hull/transom join to protect the seam from damage. Having suffered minor damage by some bad parking by another yacht recently, I would like to add something like this to prevent similar happening in future. Does anyone know of a source of such a strip? The seam is about 18/20mm wide and about 25/30mm deep on the inside transom edge.

Thanks for any help

Dave

Try PORTMERE RUBBER LTD VICTORIA STREET, NORTHAM SOUTHAMPTON, SO14 5QZ. I asked the same question here a while ago (same circumstances too) and someone kindly guided me in their direction. They have a good website.
