Ah, that'll be the one that got a few of us up (no-one aboard the boat). Furler jammed solid. Managed to get most of it in and a spare halyard around the sail, but the clew's completely gone this morning. Nearby weather station gave peak gust as 56kn at 0600, steady wind around 42mph. Wind now eased substantially.

Yep. It shredded the cockpit awning of the boat next to me too. I had to get aboard and take it all down for him (they're not here). That was fun in winds gusting into 50kts.....
