Friday is described as a 'public preview day'. What's the difference between that and a standard day?

If you haven't obtained your tickets in advance it's an extra £5 to get in.
It use to be Press and VIP preview day. But as the number of attendees dwindled they had to open up the 'special day' to all and sundry. The £5 surcharge is so you feel special.

Less crowded, more chance to chat. Tickets are cheaper via the RYA.
