Sonihull antifoul system - Any good ?

The Sonihull electronic anti-foul system was mentioned to me today and I’d never heard of this before. Any of you esteemed boaters on here have this fitted to your boats or considering having it fitted ?

A very clever sounding solution and almost too good to be true although i understand it doesn’t completely eradicate the need for traditional anti- foul but rather greatly increases the time between treatments.

Total rubbish imho. I fitted it (this precise brand) in 2009 to a then new Squadron 58, very diligently, and it was useless imho.

Someone did a thread about homebrew ultrasonic stuff a few years ago; IIRC it didn't eliminate the need for AF, so an interesting hobby rather than a useful alternative.

Thank you for the replies. My suspicion of too good to be true appears to be correct.

I’ll swerve furthering the investigation and stick with what’s been used to date
