The evidence seems so anecdotal, with adopters possibly being too positive in reporting for obvious reasons.
Like magnets on fuel lines, homeopathic remedies, vitamins for those on good diets, smart drugs for children...... (remember them?)
My boat has gone 2 years without fresh af, with one minor hand scrub, I wouldn't say that budget af I used was magical.

We use ampere-hours so why not milliampere-hours? Milliamp is a measure of current, milliampere-hours is a measure of current drain. On a boat it's the current drain that's important not the instantaneous current.

An ampere or milliampere is a flow of current eg a steady 5 amps at 12 V is 60W power
An Ampere per hour is an accelerating current, not of any meaningful use in this context.
Ampere hours are a measure of energy, eg the capacity of a battery.
