After reading so many FUD stories on the Internet about risks & troubles with changing the battery on my car I am pleased to report is was actually really easy with no complications. Took me 30 minutes.

Excellent news. I'd been worried

I made an elementary error when changing the battery in swmbo's car a couple of weeks ago. I disconnected and removed the old one and then realised the new one was in the boot which was, of course, locked and only openable by reconnecting the old battery. And then it started raining...
