hi guys its my mates boat its steel evern out of water you could not detect any rust or rot . only opened up when we started to grind off to weld plate in . if by chance i had moved or been able to put my other hand in to steady my self i would have gone down as it was that thin fag papper thin so the gods were smileing on me for sure dave

hi yes i have just sailed this boat up the coast. about 200 ks . in15 to 25 kns . why it stayed in one piece is a mystery as it was pretty bumpy . just was not ment to sink i suppose .shes all well now . dave

I heard a story about a bloke who bought a steel boat without a survey. A few months later he was doing domething and dropped a spanner.

Which went straight through the hull /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

His comment was "The sea seemed awfully keen to come and join me" Gulp!

this one had a full suv and new rig i evern went over the bottom with hammer myself while up on slips found nothing amiss but it was surely there all the same, just one of those things , but its got a charmed life by seems of it . as all is fine /// I HOPE AS I HAVE TO RETURN IT SHORTLY DAVE
