There is a lot of other 'aviation' going on

They're practicing for us - we locals here have had a whip round and hired the SBS to keep the 'turkey and tinsel coach loads from the North Island away !

Can't believe (or I suppose I can) that there were coach tours here last week from Manchester and Blackburn, the useless council here were imploring everyone to come over a week or so ago and this week are begging them all to stay away (this is the same council responsible for Calamity Chain )

Home rule for the Isle of Wight?

Living close to the Thorney Island Army base we were warned they would be doing airborne exercises in the area until the middle of next week. Theres been a lotof tooing and froing with chinooks and what not over the village.
