Ascended the mast the other day - not something I want to repeat - as the whip aerial and WINDEX had disappeared. VHF still receiving/transmitting but I believe underperformance.
Anyway, I found the stubby bit of aerial remaining coroded and replacing a new WINDEX and the whip aerial found on the deck is a non starter. So, new aerial and I assume new VHF cable required.
Not being at all proficient in respect of these matter and not being at all keen dangling for very long at 47 feet, I feel that it would be better to engage the services of a suitably skilled person to sort.
Being on the East Coast - Chatham MDL, I ask whether any one might know of someone who would oblige me.
