Somebody was in a hurry last Saturday

It was Steves son I understand, who was late for a pick-up.

He has been duly castigated, and obviously Steve is a bit distraught given the fact the Fringilla fleet is generally helmed in a most kindly manner.

Can't see this happening again, and in fairness it was in an uninhibited stretch rather than past moored boats, which won't please all of you but is less wrong.....

Unfortunately he was doing the same speed past all of us moored up in Windsor as I have said. A source informs me he was going to collect some Russians and was late.
I'm sure this was an isolated instance as you say and he has got the message.:)

Are these hire boats? One very similar called "Sea King" went past at great speed (10 knots?) at Medmenham about half an hour ago, easily the biggest wash I've seen in years.

Sea King was asked to slow down pass middle Thames rowing club, earlier.
I think the boat Verity takes the biscuit, his total lack of consideration for his wash passing moored boats at fawley meadow , yesterday

We saw Sea King coming out of Marsh lock as well, easily the biggest wash I have seen in years, didn't seem to give toss about the choas he was causing behind him, we heard horns sounding at him and local residents shouting.
