Someone once recommended using a dry cleaning spray to get olive oil/sun tan oil out of teak decks any suggestions.

Have you tried steam? It works on my wooden floor at the house.

Acetone will remove oil. Dry cleaning fluid is close to white spirits.

A boat here swears by some pink gloop called "Skipper's Choice" - apparently a wonder cleaner.
