She will be at the Trad Boat Rally at Henley, 19/20 July, partly doing Corp' hospitality and part trips for the visitors to the Rally.
Absolutely gorgeous.
She seems to sit much lower in the water than in the B&W pictures?
A joy to behold, sadly she spends most of her time under a huge cover, and only ventures forth, three or four time a year.
The same applies to Streetly (where she now?) and Nunham. Out for Hampton Court flower show (less nowadays) Ascot week (?), Henley and that's about it. Today's customer don't do river trips it seems.
"After being brought to a boatyard at Hurley, further research located her original engine at Kingston. Boat and engine were restored over a period of several"
It seems somebody doesn't want to give credit to the fabulous restoration work by Peter Freebody & his team.
Ahh the beautiful Alaska. I have chartered her four times in recent years, including for my bride's arrival at our Phyllis Court wedding in 2006, and for mine and my brother's stag do. Boulter's Lock to Henley each time
She is manned by a fantastic skipper who has a brilliant crew. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
