some photos from the weekend

thought I would post a few pictures from our bank holiday cruise.

Stayed in the marina Friday night, then headed up to Medmenham meadow for saturday night.
Followed this Shadow 26 up most of the way.

saw this steam powered launch at Hurley lock

moored up mid afternoon at Medmenham meadow for the first time. Great relaxing spot, with loads of lambs running around the field. Walked to the Dog & Badger pub for a quick pint before doing a BBQ

heading back to cookham for the sunday night, stopped at Hurley to take on board some water.

Was that 1st pic just passed Cookham bridge ?

My grandfather has his electric slipper launch just along from there at cookham dean. Lovely stretch of water.

yes thats the area. Was a bit busier when we passed back there on the sunday afternoon, as the sailing club were all out

cool, been a while since I was last out there but will be there in 2 months - cant wait for a bit of gentle cruising compared to my speed craft on loch lomond.
