Richard Branson is planning a 220' submarine which looks almost like a normal yacht when on the surface. It has what looks like a 15' approx diametre window to the main saloon. It will be capable of diving to 300m. No worry about hurricanes then.

Ed Dubois is working on a 100m sloop (NB Mirabella V = 75.2m) with a 125m mast (410' : Mirabella V = 90m). Performance is enhanced by 42' draft centreboard.

Dream Symphonies (4 master) is under construction in Turkey. It is 141m (460') long. Maltese Falcon is 88m (289').

Under construction in China, a 43m (141') motor trimaran which can cruise 4000 nm at 17 knts with a top speed of 25knts.

A 90m super yacht called Beluga with a hull in the form of a whale and where all the superstructure is glass.

Vanity of vanities; all is vanity

Will he sit there like Captain Nemo, playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue on a full-size pipe organ?

But that must be some window! Excess pressure (IIRC) is one bar per 10 metres, so that would be 30 bar or 30x14=420 psi in old money...

On the other hand if the inside is to be pressurised then there will be constraints on decompression of the passengers & crew.

Mike.
