From Deacons on the Hamble.

Can't think why - it was small and plastic and wasn't particularly stable. BUT it had a rolly ball thing in the stern so it was dead easy to push around and also get rainwater out of etc.

If anybody see's it would they let me know - its made by Plastimo, white and marked T/T MAGICIENNE inside the transom.

Alternatively would the bastard who took it please put it back - nuff said. (Although I shouldn't think that type of person reads this forum - just had to get it of my chest).

Bad Luck !

I suggest you post a sign as follows :-

' This dinghy park always prosecutes thieves '

'AFTER THEY COME OUT OF HOSPITAL'

The Management.

Thanks Nige

But I've already got an inflatable - its just such a pain in the arse to use it on a regular basis - which is at least every weekend and some evenings.

... and my tool kit, portable generator, VHF - in fact pretty well everything that was moveable off the boat.

The Police took the details, and did nothing more.

3 months later the genny turned up in a second hand shop in Portsmouth. The Police took possession, and warned me I might not get it back as the person who was selling it said he had bought it in good faith (at a local car Boot sale). Ownership was therefore 'disputed'.

Eventually I did get it back. But it would have saved a load of hassle just to buy it and forget the rest.
