Time: 11:00 Monday15th
Place: Eastern edge of the Solent in front of Portsmouth
Weather: Bright sun, no clouds, warm, 21C water temp, light F2 from the North.

A total of four sailboats visible in any direction + one very courteous power boater.

THE "SAILING SEASON" DOESN'T EXIST .... really, it's only in the mindset of the G&T + sun lounger crwd. It's still lovely out there. Just as Cherbourg this past weekend had only three or four visiting British boats. full moon crossing, steady F3 / F4 Easterlies from Friday - Monday ...

Makes you wish you'd been out on the water instead of slogging around the boatshow :)

Just got back from a glorious evening sail down Soton Water this evening.

All you lot who live more than 5 mins from your boat are completely mad!!!!!

If you saw a dark blue hulled boat off Haslar heading for the gap in the submarine barrier it was me. And yes it was suberb sailing, one of the best I'll have this year.
