This was the first boat jumble I've ever been too and I have to say I was somewhat dissapointed!
Firstly, I parked by a meter only to find out that if I'd parked somewhere else I'd have saved myself £3...a bit annoying. I also had a few hundred quid in my pocket just in case, but there was an awful lot of stuff there that was just nothing more than rubbish really! I don't know if you have to be really early to snap up the good stuff, or really late, but I was really surprised what some people were asking for some really old stuff. I'm a bit of a hoarder but I've thrown away much better!
I came away with most of my cash...I did get what I think is a bargain in the form of an SL Hyspeed windlass...it was siezed but I've got it apart and new chains/seals and a piece of bar for a handle should sort it. It was only a tenner so if I spend £50 on sorting it and painting it, it will still be a good buy.
Any thoughts? Any real bargains that people got?
