Solent bareboat charter for next years round this island

We have been toying with the idea of chartering a bigger boat (~40ft) for round this island race next year..

Has anyone had any experience or/heard from people who have chartered a bare boat in the Solent for racing? I'm aware that some companies insurance don't cover races.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Did this once many years ago before I got into the regular racing scene.

Think the company I used are no longer with us though.

Are you looking to charter something racy to be in the IRC class, or something to race in the cruising class?

You do know if you want to do well, you're better off with a small quick boat?
