A Solent area meeting will be held at the Old Ship, Bridge Rd (A27), Swanwick on Friday 15th from 1900. Food is available if you wish. All welcome.

Do you happen to know when there's another one coming up? I've recently launched in the Solent, hoping to join Jester Azores 2016, and would like to meet the locals. I realise quite a few people are still at sea!

Hi Richard,
The next meet is scheduled for Thursday, 17th September. On the Thursday of the Southampton Boat Show a number of the Jesters come from distant parts, so it is a convenient time to catch up with others who are not usually in the area. The venue will probably be the same, and I will ask for numbers nearer the time. Boat show is a busy time for the area so we will need to book a table. I hope you are able to make it along.
I should point out that this is not an official Jester event, and there is nothing to stop anyone from calling a meeting at a time and date convenient to them and see what happens. Tony Stattersfield started some Solent meets before the JAC12, and I continued as he has moved on to a larger craft.
