Solent and purbeck anchorages under threat

Like you Colin the only time I've ever seen sea horses whilst boating was at East Cowes marina and one other which escapes my memory. The point is clearly sea horses aren't bothered by boat traffic.

The irony is more deserted areas where boats occasionally venture for a couple of months a year seem devoid of the little creatures.

Unfortunately it's not just Studland that is under threat , it's many anchorages around the Solent used by boaters for many years. It's true that the seahorse Trust I've taken up battle with all of us who visit Studland and blaming us for all the perceived conservation issues including letter etc. The problem being of course people and the media are listening to him.
