Hello!
I've got a 20hp mercury outrunner and my solenoids keep breaking.
I'm using a car battery in my boat (are they higher amps?) and that fry's the circuit in the solenoid; is this possible, or is something else doing it? Also, should the metal back plate of the solenoid touch the motor (ground)?
