Sole...What!?!

Just had a bit of shock over here at Colvic towers. Phoned up the importers of our Sole mini 26 engine after a raw water impellor and fuel filter, and was asked for £30.58 and £20.94 respectively. Thats about 15 times more than i used to pay for yanmar stuff. Ok, if i wanted a new heat exchanger some makes would be more expensive than others but how one earth do you justify 30 quid for an impellor!
Does anyone know any other makes of consumables that fit my engine? Is there a database of compatible parts or anything?

It's a Mitsubishi L3E-62SS engine so I'd visit a Mitsu dealers or even a motor factors who might be able to find something. Filters don't tend to be unique.

As for the impellor - do you know what make of water pump is on it?

Try http://www.jabscoshop.com and use the "Wizard" may not list your engine but the Mitsy looks likely and they are very helpful if you ring.
