What sort of varnish do people use on cabin sole boats.

Blackfriars one pack polyurethane floor varnish, satin finish.

I use this for everything. Le Tonkinois

Ronseal "Diamond Hard" floor varnish - Clear, Satin. Although it dries quite quickly, I try to apply it (several coats - at least three) some time before I'm likely to subject it to heavy use - like all the varnishes I have ever used (OK, not that many) it takes a bit of time to really harden.

Ronseal floor varnish. Why use anything else when this is formulated for floors? Similar formulations are used for commercial settings such as village halls, schools etc so it has an easy life in a boat in comparison. The teak and holly floor in my bathroom has been down about 30 years and has never been refinished - nor does it need it.

6? Looks good after 8 years. Previously I used ordinary varnish which only lasted a couple.
